The Solar farm appeal completed at the end of April.

 

To date NAWS have raised £20,000 but we they need more - keep pledging to help them pay thier legal fees!

The results are due before 6th June - updates to follow.

The River Stour Mussel Fishery Order 2015 - Click here to go to our CAMPAIGN and our objection letter

 

MUSSELS could be farmed on the River Stour, if a five-year trial gets the go-ahead.

 

Wash Mussels Limited has applied for an order from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to allow them to fish blue mussels.

BID FOR FOOD ENTERPRISE ZONES SUBMITTED TO GOVERNMENT

 

Three key areas of agriculture, research and food production in Suffolk and Norfolk are all included in New Anglia LEP’s Food Enterprise Zone bid submitted to Government this week.(Monday March 16th)

 

During a visit to the region last month, the Prime Minister announced a second bidding round for Food Enterprise Zones with the expectation that Norfolk and Suffolk would submit one or more proposals. There are already 11 zones across the UK. - READ THE FULL PRESS RELEASE
